How It Works
The TWIST needles the skin at an extraordinary rate of 150 strokes/second. This creates numerous controlled micro-channels in the targeted layers which trigger the non-emergency wound healing process of the skin. Dormant fibroblasts become active and multiply, increasing the production of new collagen and elastin fibers without causing any scarring. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SKIN
after your TWIST microneedling treatment
- During the first 48 hours, refrain from hot showers, exercise, saunas, andhot tubs. Refresh your pillowcase every 2-3 days.
- During the first 24 hours, avoid sun exposure and do not use sunscreen(after 24 hours, apply only mineral sunscreen during daytime and continueto avoid sun exposure as much as possible).
- Avoid unnecessary contact with the treated area. Do not pick the skin andwash your hands frequently.
- During the first 24 hours, apply only Dermaroller® Hyaluronic acid serum(HA ampules/dispenser) to sooth the skin and keep it well-hydrated.
- For further hydration and comfort, apply Dermaroller® HA mask up to twicea day.
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours.
- IMPORTANT: Do not pick the skin/wounds during the entire healingperiod. After 7 days you may exfoliate the skin manually or use theOxyGeneoTM to remove dead skin from the surface. Do NOT use devicesthat involve suction, as they may cause damage to your healing skin.
